b.2002 Lily Serendipity is a multidisciplinary artist based in Bath working across textiles, painting, sculpture, and installation. Their practice explores isolation, metamorphosis, and the complexities of communication through labour-intensive, repetitive processes that transform personal experiences into materially rich works. Through embroidery, weaving, and pixelated oil painting, they investigate the relationship between digital and handmade forms, using slow acts of making to examine memory, vulnerability, and emotional endurance.

A graduate of Bath Spa University with a BA (Hons) in Creative Arts Practice, Serendipity has developed their practice through residencies with Emerge, Creative Youth Network, and Merge at Black Swan Arts, as well as Spike Island's Engagement Fellowship. In 2026, they were selected for IMPAKT's Your Give commission and received support from The Gane Trust Artist Grant, The Eaton Fund Artist Grant, and Bath Spa University's Explore It Award, enabling the expansion of their material and installation-based practice.

Serendipity’s work has been exhibited across Bath, Bristol, and Frome, including the Bath Open Art Prize at 44AD Artspace. Alongside their studio practice, they also experiment with curation, leading exhibitions such as Lusus Naturae for Fringe Arts Bath and co-curating Soft Rebellion for The Holburne Museum, a project exploring the evolving relationship between contemporary textile practice and gallery spaces.
